The Upside

This is the seed stitch cowl I whipped up using Cascade's Magnum on size 19 circular needles.  All while watching the NFC final game.  I'm a huge sports fan and I'm from the Midwest so my love for football (NFL and the Big Ten), March Madness, and the Cubs is bottomless. <PREVIEWEND>

I love to knit while watching a game, it keeps my hands busy and curbs the "rich" language I've been known to spout at the television set.  I've already lined up my Superbowl Sunday knitting project - the Spun Monkey's monkey mitts!
All this background to tell you that I don't want you all to think that I am not enjoying the enormous stash of crafty goodness that we are currently storing in our house.  That's not true, it's just a little inconvenient.  But I'm sampling a little bit of everything because who can resist two rooms filled with yarn, fabric, patterns, books and pretty much every little thing a person needs to get his/her craft on????  Well, if you could keep your hands off then you are a better person than I am.  And if you are anything like me then you would also be in crafty heaven despite having to step over sewing machines.

P.S. Thanks to everyone who has left comments or sent us a note - your excitement helps curb our anxiety.  We can't wait to meet you!  We hope you love what we've been stockpiling as much as we do!
