Hudson + West Autumn 2021 Collection

As everyone knows, the best time to start knitting for colder temperatures is summer. Now that the days are growing shorter and we're in the midst of July, we've bundled up the dress forms and mannequins in the shop in woolens. Samples Worth Writing About: Kelby Sweater

We shared a photo of the Kelby and Kelly Anorak together on Instagram and folx wanted to know more! So here are the deets on the Kelby, knit by a longtime customer and professional knitting pattern tech editor, Minh. The Kelby sweater is by Kate Gognon Osborn of Kelbourne Woolens and made with 5 skeins of Kelbourne Woolens Lucky Tweed. Minh knit the 46.75" size. Part 3 of our sample "collection" of Closet Core Patterns. This is the Kelly Anorak (view A - that's the view with a hood and cinched waist!). We made a Size 14 without adjustments. Part 2 of our sample "collection" of Closet Core Patterns. This is the Cielo Dress, View C/D - a shift dress with inseam pockets AND dramatic gathered long sleeves. We made a Size 10 without alterations and it is on one of our professional dress forms with the following measurements: Bust = 37", Waist = 28.5", and Hips = 38". We used Riley Blake Rayon Challis.
