When you have 22 employees someone has to be in charge! Meet Charlotte, our recently promoted, assistant manager. Charlotte joined gather here in 2016 and has become someone we all rely on for knitting inspiration and leadership. Since joining the team she has pushed her sewing game to new limits and she's always got something awesome on her needles. When did you start making things?I started making things since before I can remember. I started sewing at age 5 or 6 and knitting at age 7. What's your favorite thing to make? When gather here opened in 2011 we had two employees - Virginia and Noah. And they didn't really get paid, they just paid themselves back for building gather here. In 2016 when we moved from 370 Broadway to 1343 Cambridge Street we jumped up to 12 employees. Today there are 22 people working at gather here (not including our contracted instructors).
